CREATIVE IDEA - DIRECTOR - CAMERA OPERATOR - VIDEO EDITOR

CONCEPT

The briefing was to turn the restaurant into an art gallery. This concept was created from a negative criticism of the restaurant. So I decided to use the slogan "What is already on fire, can’t burn" referring to the fact that nothing can destroy us.

"A man on a horse" was the title of the response given to that review. So I tooked the horse as a symbol of all that had happened and exhibit it as a piece of art, slowly weakening and falling apart. Meanwhile, Floriano, head of the restaurant, makes a statement of intent.

The aim of the video is to challenge all those who criticized.

TASTE TALKS

Following the Art Gallery concept, different artists were invited to represent the dishes on the menu with different artworks. In order to communicate this relationship between the dish and the artist, I created a series of ten interviews where Floriano Pellegrino talks about the dish and the artist related to it. The aim of the interviews is to reveal the creative process of the chef and the pieces of art.
